Cropping is a trick that photographers do all the time, even if they don't realize it. Every time a photographer chooses to cut something out of his/her frame, before they snap the photo, that is in essence cropping. We also have learned tools on Photoshop that allow us to crop an image after we have taken it. When cropping in Photoshop it is possible to improve our composition or change it completely.
How I changed my original photo to this one is by focusing in on one flower with the bee in it. I cut the surounding out of it, which were a few more buds and the top of the cactus. I like this versoin of the photo more because you can see all the colors better and you notice the bee alot more in the middle of the flower. To create this intire image I took away everything that was next to it, but left a little white space at the top afterwards to put my name.
